Gato Barbieri – Last Tango in Paris

Soundtrack to the film “Last Tango in Paris,” directed by director Bernardo Bertolucci, scored by Argentine saxophonist Gato Barbieri, with arrangements edited by saxophonist, clarinetist and composer Oliver Nelson.

The recording sessions for the soundtrack of the film “Last Tango in Paris” are carried out by Gato Barbieri in 1972 at the RCA studios in Rome.

The Argentine musician is accompanied by a lineup of jazz musicians consisting of: Franco D’Andrea (piano), Giovanni Tommaso and J.F Jenny-Clark (double bass), Piero Munari (drums), Mandrake Ivanir do Nascimento (percussion).
