The album features, among others, Enrico Pieranunzi, Enzo Pietropaoli, Baldo Maestri, Giancarlo Maurino, Carlo Metallo, Fabrizio Sferra, Roberto Gatto, Dino Piana, with participation as a singer by Christian De Sica

At the end of recording sessions reserved for film music, composer Manuel De Sica – son of famous actor and director Vittorio De Sica – used to devote himself and the orchestra he conducted to performing jazz standards, specially arranged for the occasion. The Con Alma disc includes a selection of recordings made with instrumental input from prestigious Italian jazz musicians

The entire material recorded on analog media was digitized and restored by the sound engineers of the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome under the supervision of Paolo Marra, curator of the Archives of Jazz in Rome
