The course is intended for musicians playing any instrument and any musical genre and is aimed at perfecting the most important aspect of ensemble playing:

  • Develop the ability to interact with other musicians in real time
  • Acquire the ability to listen to and understand the rhythmic play of peers at the most complex level, regardless of musical genre.
  • ability to play with precision and stability in any style.

Course program

  • study of the basics of rhythmic construction
  • Study of the basics of rhythmic construction within the musical form
  • Study of the basics of polyrhythms and polymetry through specific exercises with singing and clapping
  • Application of the studied rhythm system on musical instruments in ensembles
  • preparation of a musical program
  • practice sheets

January 12 to May 11, 2026, 15 meetings of 2 hours each, Mondays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., weekly.
