Course content and structure
The course is divided into two progressive modules designed to accompany students in acquiring and consolidating the skills required to obtain Avid Pro Tool 101 and 110 certifications.
In the first module, Pro Tools 101 – Fundamentals I, we cover an overview of the interface and main settings, and then move on to creating and managing audio sessions. Work is done on recording and playback of sound content, basic editing and track organization, through to introducing the first elements of mixing and the use of plug-ins.
The second module, Pro Tools 110 – Fundamentals II, consolidates and expands on the skills learned: it goes into detail about advanced audio and MIDI editing, signal management, and more complex routing configurations. You delve into automation techniques and explore early advanced mix strategies, up to and including preparing the final bounce.
The course concludes with specific preparation for the Avid Pro Tools | User certification exam, so as to provide students with expendable skills in professional settings.
