A pianist and keyboardist, Alessandro Spoldi studied classical piano with Maestro Emilio Suvini, earning his conservatory diploma (under the old curriculum) in 2009. He subsequently broadened his artistic horizons by focusing on modern music and collaborating with various punk, reggae, rock, and pop bands, developing a musical approach open to different styles and contexts.

In 2013, he earned a master’s degree in Urban Planning and Territorial Policies from the Polytechnic University of Milan. Until 2018, he worked as a project manager at the urban planning firm Kcity Srl, overseeing urban regeneration projects and calls for proposals with a sociocultural focus.

In 2018, he decided to devote himself entirely to music and resumed his academic studies in Milan, earning a diploma in Piano and Pop/Rock Keyboards in 2022 . During this time, he delved deeper into the languages of popular music and the techniques of sound synthesis and programming—both analog and digital—developing skills that range from instrumental performance to sound design.

Since 2022, he has focused his artistic research on field recording, using underwater microphones to collect samples of natural sounds intended to be transformed through timbral manipulation processes. This project gave rise to Troglo, which was released in May 2025 and performed live—both as a solo act and as a duo with drummer Davide Chioggia—at various venues on the Milan music scene, including Cascina Martesana, Leila Club, Mezzè, and Mosso.

Since 2021, he has been performing as a pianist and keyboardist in numerous live music projects. These include *Il pianeta della Musica* by Franco Mussida, the *Pegasus and The Swam Tour*, andthe 2025 UK Tour by Sananda Maitreya (Terence Trent D’Arby), as well as the show *Dumba* by Assurditè (Chiara Blazan).

In addition to his concert career, he works as a composer and artistic director for the theater. He composed the music for the productions *Note e Parole* (2021–2024), produced by Fondazione Campiello and Teatro Stabile del Veneto, and *Sotto la Pelle* (2024), produced by Teatro Stabile del Veneto.

As a solo pianist, he participated in the 2015, 2022, and 2023 editions of Piano City Milano and has performed at numerous events dedicated to the presentation of literary works for the publishing houses Eleuthera and Milieu.

His artistic practice is currently focused on developing a sound research project that integrates field recordings, electronic synthesis, piano, and live performance, with a particular emphasis on the expressive possibilities offered by the interaction between sound, the environment, and contemporary music technologies.
