COMPOSITION AND APPLIED MUSIC

David Logan, an award-winning composer and Hollywood Music in Media Award nominee, graduated (magna cum laude) from Berklee College of Music.

In 1996 David moved to Los Angeles where he found immediate success as a composer in the video game industry.

His credits include music composition for extremely popular games such as X-Men – Mutant Academy (Activision), PacMan World 2 (Namco) and the re-released classic arcade Asteroids. (Activision).

He composed the award-winning epic soundtrack to Heroes Over Europe for Ubisoft (PS3, XBox 360, PC) and Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty (Marvel / Disney), which was nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award.

He also composed the soundtrack for Valerian: City of Alpha (Spil Games), the official video game for Luc Besson’s film.

  • Used on television, both in advertising, such as the 2004 Summer Olympics Nike campaign with Marion Jones
  • Television programs like Sex and the City (HBO)
  • FaceOff (NBC)
  • Access Hollywood (NBC).

David has also been a featured composer for Disney’s Ready or Not, currently in syndication in over 40 countries.

His original score for the film “Rosa” (Rai Cinema) premiered at the Shanghai International film festival in 2019.

In addition to his career as a composer and producer, David Logan has a real passion for teaching, teaching video game composition and audio design at the Toronto Film School in Toronto and since 2016 has been a Saint Louis lecturer for courses in the Applied Music Department.
