Enrico Pieranunzi is a leading figure on the international jazz scene, earning a reputation as an eclectic and talented musician.

Enrico Pieranunzi has in his career, studded with more than 70 CDs to his name, embraces a wide range of musical formations.

Collaborations with jazz icons such as Chet Baker, Lee Konitz, Paul Motian, Charlie Haden, Chris Potter, Marc Johnson, and Joey Baron.

In addition to major European countries, Pieranunzi has taken his musical genius to South America, Japan and the United States.

The only Italian musician to have performed in New York’s legendary “Village Vanguard.”

Numerous awards, as the best Italian musician in the years 1989, 2003 and 2008 in the annual “Top Jazz” referendum of “Musica Jazz” magazine.

Other awards, the French “Django d’Or” in 1997 as best European musician, the Echo Award in 2014 in Germany as “Best International Pianist,” and the “A Life for Jazz” award from Musica Jazz magazine .

Pieranunzi’s compositions have become authentic standards in the jazz repertoire, with pieces such as “Night Bird,” “Don’t Forget the Poet,” “Les Amants,” “Fellini’s Waltz,” “Je Ne Sais Quoi,” “Trasnoche,” and “Coralie.”

Their presence in the renowned U.S. “New Real Book” underscores their importance in the world music scene.
