A musician, composer, and sound artist based in Milan, Francesca Pavesi holds a diploma in classical trumpet and furthered her studies in music production at Berklee College of Music, where she earned a Master’s degree in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation.

Her artistic work focuses on ambient and experimental electronic music, incorporating analog synthesizers, modular systems, acoustic instruments, and field recording techniques. Through these languages, she creates immersive soundscapes, exploring sound as a space for listening, presence, and transformation.

Her compositions are characterized by an approach based on improvisation, timbral exploration, and the continuous evolution of sound. Her work explores the expressive potential of sound synthesis, ambient recording, and the interaction between acoustic and electronic instruments, creating listening experiences that blend musical experimentation and sound design.

In addition to her artistic research, she is pursuing a path dedicated to the relationship between music, perception, and well-being through her training in music therapy at the Milan Conservatory. This perspective enriches her compositional practice and fuels a reflection on the potential of sound to foster presence, balance, and awareness, helping to define a personal language that combines sound exploration, acoustic sensitivity, and attention to the listening experience.

In recent years, her work has been presented at festivals, cultural institutions, and venues dedicated to experimental music, both in Italy and abroad.

Alongside her artistic work, she collaborates with international organizations on the development of tools for sound creation, the composition of soundtracks, and sound design projects, bringing together music production, sound technology, and contemporary experimentation.
