Gabriele Curciotti graduated from the Conservatory in 2003 with honors and is a regular concert pianist. He is a teacher and event organizer (Rome Expo Guitars first and foremost, as founder and president of the music association “Chitarra In”).

Graduating in 1999 as a rehabilitation therapist, thanks to his in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, Gabriele Curciotti specializes in movement dynamics applied to the instrument in relation to the guitarist’s posture and the development of the musician’s muscular endurance and elasticity.

Since 2012 he has formed the “Duo Paganini” (guitar and violin) with Maestro Francesco Cappelletti with a repertoire ranging from original compositions by the great 19th century virtuoso.

He writes numerous transcriptions of composers of various nationalities and musical genres: Sarasate, De Falla, Granados, FourÄ—, Piazzolla, Brahms, Rossini Bela Bartok, Monti, Ravel, Strauss and others.


  • In 2011 and 2022 he recorded two albums for the DotGuitar label dedicated to Spanish and South American music; the second, the double album “Vuelvo al Sur” was recorded in analog and with gut strings.
  • Also in 2018 for the “Sinfonica” edition as part of the publication of “Sonmi suite” by Massimo Baiocco (S.0383), he recorded two pieces contained on the accompanying CD: Mauna Kea and Transumana.
  • In 2020 in duo with Maestro Vito Nicola Paradiso for the “DotGuitar” label, the album “Danze LatinoAmericane” was released.
  • In 2021 for the publication with the “Sinfonica” edition of Matteo Staffini’s “XV didactic preludes” (S.430), he recorded the piece “Saudade” for the accompanying CD.
