Giampaolo Rosselli boasts decades of experience in the musical field.
After graduating from the “Academy of Music Criticism” with such teachers as Assante and Castaldo and Gianfranco Salvatore, he began his experience in BMG Ricordi working on Valeria Rossi’s “Three Words” album.
Within BMG’s art department, he works with many great artists such as Lucio Dalla, Antonello Venditti, Giorgia, Luca Carboni, Gigi D’Alessio, and emerging artists such as Le Vibrazioni, il Nucleo, and on special projects for unreleased songs by Lucio Battisti and Mia Martini.
Following the merger with Sony, he continued his work as a talent scout and consultant for the Sony BMG artistic office until 2009.
In these years in addition to working with the above artists he worked with Simone Cristicchi, the Sonhora, Luca Dirisio, with cult singer-songwriter Enzo Carella and with Pasquale Panella, in the same year he also began to work as a freelancer for other majors producing Le Mani e Son for Universal Music Italy.
Meanwhile, his work as a music juror and History of Rock Music teacher and contributor for the school on the Productions Team thickens. He works with major Italian festivals such as Tour Music Fest, Sanremo Rock, Premio Fabrizio De Andrè, Emergenza Festival, Sim Università La Sapienza, and is a panelist for Usong.it.
Giampaolo Rosselli has been a consultant for a major music provider Radio Instare. He is currently the general manager of YPK Entertainment, a company that manages catalogs for TV and cinema soundtracks, is a consultant for Pirames International, the most important Italian company in the digital audiovisual market, and a consultant for the Spaghetti catalog of the historic music producer Alessandro Colombini (Venditti, Dalla, Ron, PFM, Decibel) and a consultant for JE Company, a leader in the Dance market. Since 2022, he has been an AFI advisor.
