Gregorio Matteo holds diplomas in violin and chamber music and carries out intense concert activity in the field of classical music, both as a soloist and in ensembles.

He has collaborated as a violinist (for recordings and concerts) with Maestros such as Ennio Morricone and Nicola Piovani; in the theatrical field, as an actor and violin soloist, alongside actresses such as Alida Valli, (Stasera si recita a soggetto – Pirandello), Lucia Poli, (Il fantasma di Canterville – Wilde.

In the field of Pop Music, he has recorded records for some of the most important artists in Italian pop music such as Laura Pausini, Antonello Venditti, Renato Zero and many others.

He joined RAI in 1998 as a music consultant and over time acquired a broad knowledge of all types of broadcasts such as: news programs, TV formats, classical music concerts and “big events,” experience that led him to be the Music Consultant for many of the most important national events such as: Sanremo Festival, Fiorello, Wind Music Award, Dancing with the Stars, Laura Pausini live in Taormina, 150 (for the celebrations of the 150th year of the unification of Italy), and many others.

Gregorio Matteo also has skills in the area of Post-production: working in editing rooms and collaborating with specialized technicians, audio and video.
