Classical piano masterclass
Renata Benvegnù is a pianist engaged on many fronts: teaching, concert activity, organizing events and directing a music association.
A graduate in Piano Performance with highest honors, cum laude and Mention from the Conservatory of Adria under the guidance of masters Giampaolo Nuti and Federica Righini, she received her Master of Music degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London with Honors in the class of Maestro Christopher Elton, a Diploma of High Piano Performance with highest honors from the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia in Rome under the guidance of Maestro Sergio Perticaroli, and a Diploma in Chamber Music from the Accademia
Meetings with the Master of Imola obtaining the title “Master” with top marks, in the class of m° Piernarciso Masi.
In 2010 she was among ten pianists selected from around the world to attend the prestigious Music Academy of the West in California where she participated in the Summer Music Festival in Santa Barbara (Los Angeles).
Renata has won First Prize and Absolute First Prize in more than thirty National and International Competitions including the Concurso Internacional de Piano de Ibiza (Spain), the European Piano Prize in Riccione, the Liszt Prize in Verona, the Young Talent Prize in Belgium, the Agimus Prize in Arezzo, and many others, also she was “Best Diplomate of Italy in 2006” at the Castrocaro review.
He has performed as a soloist all over the world, including: the Duke’s Hall, Steinway Hall and Trinity Concert Hall in London, the Auditorium M. de Falla of the Conservatory of Madrid, the Angelica Library and the Parco della Musica in Rome, the Teatro dal Verme and the Puccini Hall of the Conservatory of Milan, the Teatro Malibran and the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Auditorium “Le ciminiere” in Catania, Calif, the Teatro Mediterraneo in Naples, the Teatro Menotti in Spoleto, the Italian Embassy in Seoul and Sejong University in South Korea, Hahn Hall, Lehinman Hall in Santa Barbara, California, and the University Park Auditorium in Sarasota, Florida.
In 2014 she made her debut in China with a tour that featured her as a soloist in the most prestigious Chinese venues (Hangzhou Theatre, Jiangxi Art Center, Dalian Development area Theatre, Yingkou Grand Theatre, Qinhuangdao Youth Art Palace) and in 2016 she was again invited to other Chinese venues (Shanghai, Taicang, Wuxi Art Center..) in a duo with the first violin of the Bilbao Symphony, Giulia Brinckmeier.
He has also played with the Solisti Veneti conducted by Maestro Claudio Scimone, the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto conducted by Maestro Massimiliano Caldi, the Orchestra San Giovanni conducted by Maestro Keith Goodman, and the Proart Orchestra of Seoul.
She collaborates with various artists and has initiated numerous educational projects, the most recent at the La Fenice Theater in Venice, which for the fourth year in a row features her in 14 family performances as a duo with pianist Fabio Crocco.
Her versatility has led her to delve into more modern and contemporary genres of music as well, she collaborates with the Piano Sky project conceived by Cardinali Group (a piano that rises 4 meters high) for which she has performed in numerous Italian cities and also in Spain, France, Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Mexico where Piano Sky was the protagonist of the Festival Internacional Santa Lucia recording a total of 44 thousand attendees at its 15 days of concerts.
Her passion for teaching led her to obtain several teaching certifications from the University of Venice (in Music Education, Support) and from the Conservatory of Adria (piano teaching). He has taught at the Conservatory of Padua, Trinity School in London and given numerous master classes. He is currently a tenured professor in Principal Piano at the A. Buzzolla Conservatory in Adria.
Renata is Artistic Director of the Association “Orchestra Giovanile della Saccisica A.P.S.” of Piove di Sacco, which since 2005 has been carrying out activities of cultural promotion in the area and talent enhancement, organizing a concert season and the National Competition of Musical Execution “City of Piove di Sacco” now in its 18th edition.
