After a degree in Legal Sciences, a Master in Music Communication and a Higher Education Course in Entertainment and Music Law, Roberto Riva began his professional career at A1 Entertainment S.p.A.; in fact, from 2013 to 2019 he worked as Project and Label Manager at Artist First, a leading Music Distribution Company, physical and digital, based in Milan.
During his years in-house he curates the launch of numerous projects for independent record labels, including: Sugar ( Negramaro, Andrea Bocelli, Malika Ayane, Elisa ), Carosello (The Giornalisti, Coez, Emis Killa, Levante), Maciste Dischi (Canova, Gazzelle, Fulminacci), former GSU (Mina), Edizioni e Produzioni Nomadi, Gaber Foundation (Giorgio Gaber), Ultrasuoni (Modà ), The Wolf (Mezzosangue), DM Produzioni (Roberto Vecchioni), Hukapan (Elio e Le Storie Tese) and many others.
In 2022 he founded Italy’s new music hub, Triggger S.r.l., which, together with other professionals in the record market, offers tailor-made consulting services for artists, record labels and management.
He also conducts professional activities in the field of synchronization and cross legal advice between the motor and music worlds. In 2022 he was in charge of the Pirelli Formula One Grand Prix on the occasion of the centenary of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza; in September 2024 with Triggger he co-produced the opening ceremony of the World Cup of roller sports in Rome’s Piazza di Spagna; he manages talent in the world of sports and, among other things, is in charge of legal advice for the Concertone del Primo Maggio in Rome.
