Vittorio Solimene began piano studies at the age of 12, and at 15 he was admitted to the three-year jazz piano academic program at Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, where in 2017 he received his bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano with a grade of 110 cum laude.

In 2020 he completed his studies at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, obtaining a two-year degree with a grade of 110 cum laude with honorable mention.

He was a student of Ramberto Ciammarughi, Roberto Tarenzi, Pierpaolo Principato, Dario Zeno, Alessandro Gwis, and Pat Bianchi.

In 2017, he won first prize overall in the soloist section of the “Paolo Randazzo” competition, and was a finalist in the “Chicco Bettinardi Competition and the “B-Jazz International Contest,” in both in the group section.

He has the opportunity to perform with musicians from the Italian and international scene including: Kurt Elling, Rosario Giuliani, Fabrizio Bosso, Gegè Telesforo.

On May 6, 2017, Vittorio Solimene was invited as a guest of the Auditorium Parco della Musica’s Resident Jazz Orchestra for a tribute to Massimo Urbani.
