On June 21, the first day of summer, a live event not to be missed in Villa Lazzaroni Park. The Saint Louis Garage Band, formed by students from Saint Louis’ Pop academic courses on stage along with three special guest artists Davide Shorty, Folcast, Ainé. Free admission concert open to all.

The Saint Louis Garage Band is the formation born out of the Saint Louis Pop academic courses. On stage, eight very talented young musicians: Maia Citoni and Corinne Ragona on vocals, Ayan Kofi Okrau on saxophone, EJ on piano and keyboards, Natasha Giustini and Nicolò Mei on guitars, Carlo Aletti on bass and Diego Stinziani on drums.

Joining them are three artists among the most recognizable voices on the Italian music scene. Davide Shorty, an artist from Palermo already known to the general public, brings to the stage his music blending soul, hip hop and experimentation. Folcast, singer-songwriter with a sharp pen and rare sensitivity, capable of moving between pop and songwriting. Ainé, an artist with an intense vocality and unmistakable style, among the most interesting presences on the current independent scene.

The event is part of Saint Louis’ tradition of combining academic training and performance dimensions, bringing music directly into the living fabric of the city.
