Game of Chords 2025: songwriter contest finals at the L’asino che vola live club

Game of Chords, the Saint Louis-based journey of music and creativity, reaches its final act. On Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, at 9 p.m., the historic live club L’Asino che Vola (Via Antonio Coppi 12, Rome) will host the finals of the Saint Louis songwriting contest, with free admission.

After months of onstage challenges and original songs that won over the audience and jury, six young musical talents will compete for the title: Roberta Cassarino, Sapada, Imma, Sarai, Chiara Osso and Giulia Zedda.

This songwriter contest, now in its fifth year, once again confirmed its vocation as a creative laboratory where Saint Louis students experiment with languages, writing and live performance. On this final evening, each artist will be called upon to “play his or her card,” in an atmosphere that combines the risk of challenge and the power of fate, just as in a symbolic tarot deck.

The finals will be an opportunity to listen to the new voices of the emerging music scene and find out which of the 6 finalist songwriters will win the first prize put up for grabs by the contest: professional production of the winning song, made in Saint Louis recording studios, and publication with the Saint Louis Music Production label on major streaming platforms, with promotion on the institution’s official channels.
