Ink for Ensemble, Chamber Music Concert

by Saint Louis students of Composition and Film Scoring, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at MAXXI – National Museum of 21st Century Arts.

A rendezvous with the musical creativity of the new generation of composers: on Saturday, June 21, MAXXI’s spaces will host “Ink for Ensemble,” a chamber music concert featuring students from the first and second years of the Saint Louis College of Music’s Department of Composition for Film Music.

A fine ensemble – piano, string quartet, flute and clarinet – will give voice to original compositions born of the students’ sensitivity and research, for an intense and exciting listening experience.

Opening the evening was the award ceremony for the winning high schools of music in the DOVEFARESOLOLAMIAMUSIC competition, sponsored by Saint Louis to enhance young talent in high schools.
