European Jazz’s cool is an innovative course of advanced musical training in jazz of European significance, devised by Saint Louis; a full immersion for professional and artistic development in a broad international recording and concert context.
The ensembles led by Jan Lundgren, a Swedish pianist and composer and founder of the Mare Nostrum trio with Paolo Fresu and Richard Galliano, and Gegè Telesforo, a Jazz Music Awards award-winning vocalist & producer, made up of selected students from the Saint Louis Jazz Department and from Italian and European conservatories, make their debut on the Casa del Jazz stage to present their project, conceived and realized during their artistic residency at Saint Louis. The tour will then continue the journey to European destinations such as Aalborg, Helsinki, and Antwerp.
