Lab On The Road, live concert with Saint Louis bands, special guest William Stravato at L’Asino che vola

Tuesday, February 24, 2026 new Lab On The Road event, the live format conceived by Saint Louis that brings its students from Jazz & Pop courses to the stages of Rome. At The Donkey that Flies, all the energy of ensemble music workshops led by William Stravato, special guest of the evening, on stage with his students in an unusual role, and the new project of singer-songwriter Beatrice Goracci, star of Playing Memories, the TV series distributed in streaming on Raiplay, with “Capinera” (Ep 1, St.1).

William Stravato, the special guest

Teacher of Pop Guitar Courses and Rock-blues from Saint Louis, William Stravato is among the most highly regarded guitarists in Italy. Trained at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, he has played and collaborated with internationally prominent artists such as Brett Garsed, Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, Richie Kotzen and Guthrie Govan, gracing stages in Europe and the United States. His signature style blends the virtuosity of fusion with the expressive tension of blues and rock, declined with striking guitar vocals, especially in live performances. He has been teaching at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome since 2004, where he directs student ensemble music workshops, bringing all the experience he has gained live and in the studio to the classroom.

Lab On The Road is the historic live format of the Saint Louis College of Music that takes students out of the classroom and into the city’s clubs, chronicling a musical education that is not limited to study, but is measured by the audience and the professional dimension of live performance. A project that turns the studio into a real experience, putting musicians in direct contact with the audience. Designed as a traveling performance workshop, Lab On The Road has always been an integral part of Saint Louis education.
