Final concert of the Saint Louis Music Performance Summer School at the Caffè Letterario in Rome, Saturday, July 25.

From July 20 to 25, 2026, the Music Performance Summer School will bring an intensive program to Rome for singers and instrumentalists. A week of workshops in jazz and pop ensembles, led by professional instructors in an international setting, culminating in a final concert at the Caffè Letterario on Saturday, July 25, open to the public.

The Music Performance Summer School is Saint Louis’s summer music program, which brings together singers and instrumentalists from around the world for an intensive one-week, full-immersion course dedicated to live performance. The event, scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at 7:00 p.m. at the Caffè Letterario (Via Ostiense 95), is the public presentation of a week of study and rehearsals.

The program is centered on daily practice in jazz and pop ensembles. The Pop section is led by Margherita Flore, Giacomo Campolo, Adriana Persico, and Corrado Filiputti, while the Jazz section is led by Simone Maggio and Marta Capponi, both of whom are experienced teachers and musicians.

Vocal and instrumental technique, arrangement, interpretation, listening to one another, stage presence, and musical communication are the skills at the heart of ensemble work, where each musician finds their place without compromising the group’s cohesion. The final concert showcases the work of all the ensembles, featuring a repertoire arranged by the students themselves.
