Orientation to understanding a record contract. Masterclass with Giampaolo Rosselli.

Tuesday May 26 2026, Giampaolo Rosselli will hold a masterclass geared toward understanding record contracts, analyzing all aspects that lead the artist to a greater awareness of his or her rights.

An intensive hands-on orientation workshop on reading and understanding a record contract, with the aim of providing artists and professionals with the fundamental tools to interpret its structure, language and implications.

Through an introduction to the music market and the main types of contracts, participants will be guided in analyzing key clauses-including duration, exclusivity, royalties, advances, and master ownership-developing a greater awareness of the economic and artistic rights involved.

Special attention will be paid to the identification of the most common critical issues and negotiable terms, with a focus on real industry dynamics and informed preparation for signing, thanks in part to practical examples and real case discussion moments.
