CLAUDIO CLEMENTI

Claudio Clementi is a musician/songwriter.

He has a bittersweet style typical of his generation, where it remains increasingly difficult to find the stimuli to create a song that is totally and undeniably positive. That vein of sadness, melancholy, surely restlessness or bitterness; they are now part of his songwriting structure.

As soon as he starts composing his own songs he joins the Saint Louis roster.
April 18, 2023, sees the release of “Equilibristi,” a track in which Clementi takes as his reference the greatest experts in bittersweet: Colapesce/Dimartino. The song was produced by three Saint Louis College of Music students-Pierdomenico Niglio, Alessandro Masi and Matteo Scarchilli, supervised by Fabio Balestrieri (George Benson, Tom Jones, Giorgia, Phil Gould of Level42).

On May 2, 2024, the single “It’s Not Today” was released, a song that mixes electronic elements with rebellious guitars.

Claudio Clementi sets to music the discomfort of never feeling like you are in the right time, of feeling like you are living in the wrong era. The need to adapt without losing oneself, the need to find one’s own space.

A profound lyric conveyed with a lighthearted sound influenced by an electronic style that harks back to the past, but can keep notes fresh and current. The result is a catchy, engaging song that makes you want to break the chains of monotony.

“It’s Not Today is a song that winks at the energy of pop punk, contaminated with synths and sounds that are partly reminiscent of the 1980s. It is a bittersweet reflection on constantly feeling out of time in life, while still keeping hope lit for the tomorrow ahead” is how Claudio Clementi describes his own piece.
