Afro-Cuban Singing and Choir

Methodological application of the sung music literature of the Son panorama, Guaracha, Salsa (folk matrix ), Rumba genres, i.e. guaguancó, yambú, columbia, Cuban carnival comparsa and conga (folkloric matrix) and especially worship songs, the true humus of Afrocubanìa:Yoruba, Congo/Bantú, Ararà, Abakwá (liturgical matrix).

Percussionist Giovanni Imparato offers two weekly meetings, Thursdays from h 4 to h 6 pm.

Instant Music Lab

For all musicians, singers, dancers. Cognitive facilitation practice to induce the musician to express ” instantly” a creative-musical resonance/consonance, inherent in all-around improvisation. A deliberate attempt will be made not to use pre-established concepts, nor forms, or patterns that may condition the over-framing of melodic, harmonic, or rhythmic lines.

Weekly meetings, Thursdays from h 18:00 to h 20:00.
