Between Music&Arts new 2025 edition of the Mediterranean Festival in Sicily.
From July 22-27, 2025, the Between Music&Arts Festival returns with an even richer program. An artistic proposal that explores new forms of expression, ties up new collaborations, consolidating, thus, its cross-sectoral approach and strengthening the international dimension.
It will be six days of concerts, performances, exhibitions, screenings, talks and workshops, enlivening the wonderful sites of the UNESCO site Archaeological Park of Morgantina and the Villa Romana del Casale and the four municipalities that are part of it: Piazza Armerina, Aidone, Mazzarino and Pietraperzia.
THE THEMES OF THE 2025 EDITION
The 2025 edition will be a journey through universal and highly relevant themes, with a focus in particular on discovery and sharing as key experiences in fostering encounters between individuals and communities through culture.
Along these lines, the artistic program is inspired by the figure of Marco Polo, a symbol of exploration, discovery and dialogue between East and West, who embodies the dream and openness to new horizons, representing an intercultural bridge between the Mediterranean and the East. The Festival will offer a reflection on these issues in a journey that goes beyond physical and cultural boundaries.
THE GUEST COUNTRY OF HONOR: TUNISIA
Starting in 2025, the Festival will host a different Mediterranean country each year, thanks in part to the valuable collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. For this edition, the guest country of honor will be Tunisia, which will enrich the program with specific events and proposals.
SONGWRITING CAMP 2025
Also this new edition of the festival will host within it the Sognwriting Camp, a creative and educational experience for songwriters, who will have the opportunity to work under the careful mentorship of industry experts-songwriters, composers, performers, sound engineers and producers-on the creation of a professional record product to be presented to producers and publishers on the Italian scene.
The specific focus of this edition is Mediterranean Music, in its broadest sense, beyond genre categories, leaving resident artists free to range from jazz to pop to electronic.
The international dimension of the Project is ensured by the participation of Italian and international students from Saint Louis and 4 European Partner Institutes of the Erasmus+ network.
In this sense, Between Campus hopes for the circulation and dissemination of musical ideas and ethnic influences that can provide fertile soil for creativity, experimentation, and innovation.
