So Similar is the new single by Claudio Clementi, to be released by Urban 49/Saint Louis Music Production on December 6, 2024.
The text touches on the very sensitive topic that is depression. It talks about feeling overwhelmed by the events that move our lives every day and that we think only affect ourselves, when in fact they affect others as well, albeit in different ways.
They make us similar precisely, and we can use them, turn them to our advantage, to give us the strength and knowledge that we are not alone, even if we see ourselves as the same, or if we see ourselves as different.

So similar is also a video clip. The video is a literal representation of the song, almost a representation of ourselves in front of the mirror, in which, however, we realize that we have much in common with others and that we are not alone with our daily problems and vicissitudes.
“To make the video, which was entirely designed and “animated” by me, loved ones or people who simply found themselves in that title, and embraced the cause, were asked to send a close-up photo of themselves, with any expression.
The rest of the work was to digitally redraw the features of the various faces, put them together and create a sequence, continuous, opposite to my half of the face.
Each with their own differences, but all extremely similar” (Claudio Clementi)
Claudio Clementi is a Roman composer and musician.
He made his debut with the first single, “Apnea,” in 2020.
He thus began to be noticed and to make his solo project known, after having played in various pop/rock groups, embracing more folk and acoustic sounds.
Between 2021 and 2022 he released two more singles as a total independent, “Supernova” and “Surviving,” which begin to have a more indie/rock feel, leading him to a sound increasingly rich in synths and electric guitars.
In 2023, he released the song “Equilibristi” (Saint Louis Music Production) confirming the sound undertaken previously and all the influences received from the Italian and international music scene, always maintaining autobiographical and introspective lyrics.
He later released the singles “Destination” and “It’s Not Today,” meeting with the enthusiasm of the specialized press.
