Myllennium Award 2025

The new edition of the Myllennium Award, the award that has celebrated the commitment and creativity of young Italians under 30 for eleven years, is officially open.

With more than 340,000 euros in prize money and concrete opportunities for professional growth, the Myllennium Award-promoted by the Barletta Group and the Foundation of the same name-recognizes the most innovative and promising projects in key areas such as writing, journalism, music, startups, social entrepreneurship, filmmaking, and urban regeneration.

Since 2015, the Myllennium Award has seen the participation of more than 5,300 applicants, rewarding more than 330 young talents from all over Italy and distributing more than 1.5 million euros in cash and professional opportunities.

Nominations are open until May 5, 2025, and the award ceremony will be held on July 9, 2025 at Villa Medici, Rome.

The Prize is distinguished by its inclusive approach and strong connection to the social and cultural reality of the country. A committee of experts, including academics, journalists, artists and entrepreneurs, will evaluate the nominated projects. Award recipients will have access to scholarships, internships, publishing contracts and visibility through collaborations with entities and companies of national and international significance.

The categories competing for this edition are: MyBOOK (non-fiction and fiction), MyREPORTAGE (journalism and digital content), MySTARTUP (tech and innovative entrepreneurship), MySOCIALIMPACT (social entrepreneurship), MyJOB (vocational training), MyFRAME (cinema), MyMUSIC (music), MySPORT (sports and dual careers), MyCITY (urban regeneration and art), and MyBRICKS (arts and crafts).

Specifically, the MyMUSIC section awards young musicians in two categories:

– For the Music category, in partnership with RDS Next, the best unreleased song with a youth theme will be awarded. The Award includes the production of the song and the making of the video clip, live performance during the award ceremony on July 9, and subsequent passage on the broadcast web portal.

– The Classical Music category, in partnership with Roma Tre Orchestra, targets young classical solo musicians under 30 who play violin, cello and piano. The winner will receive a prize of 1,000 euros in cash and will be able to take part in the Roma Tre Orchestra 2025-2026 artistic season with a solo concert accompanied by the Roma Tre Orchestra itself.

The new call for applications is online and nominations are open on the official Myllennium Award website
