Saint Louis al Glomus Camp 2022

Saint Louis took part in Glomus Camp 2022, August 17-28, 2022.

The GLOMUS Camp is a worldwide meeting, held every two years, bringing together students, teachers, managers and artists from all member countries in one big event, in an abundance of cross-cultural expressions, performances and debate workshops. Glomus, in fact, is an international network of universities, conservatories and academies-including, for Italy, Saint Louis-from all continents, selected from all the world’s leading and visionary institutions.

For the 2022 edition, which took place in in Denmark, hosted by The Royal Academy of Music and The Danish National School of Performing Arts, August 17-28, the thematic focus was “Global Optimism“: how do young artists understand and interpret the cultural, political, and human challenges and possibilities facing the world after the global pandemic? Can art and cultural encounters have a healing effect? Does art have an answer or new questions to add?

During the ten days, the theme was addressed with various events-workshops, discussions, live performances-which were also open to the public.

Representing Saint Louis participated in Glomus Camp 2022 were Biennium faculty and students: Lisa Fiorani, Margherita Flore, Stefano Vestrini, Sara Provitali, Francesco Sacchini and Giuseppe Samaritano.
