Saint Louis Club Festival at Alexanderplatz: four live jazz concerts featuring Saint Louis students, 11 special guests and an evening dedicated to International Jazz Day with final Jam Session.
From April 27-30, 2026, the Saint Louis College of Music is bringing its students to the Alexanderplatz stage in Rome for four evening concerts dedicated to jazz. On stage with the ensembles formed by the students of the three-year and two-year academic Jazz programs are nine special guests: Federica Michisanti, Matteo Carlini, Andrea Colella, Nicola Di Tommaso, Dario Giacovelli, Giovanni Imparato, Natalio Mangalavite, Sasha Mashin, and Cristiano Mastroianni . In addition, in celebration of International Jazz Day, the evening will conclude on April 30 with a jam session open to all.
The initiative is a collaboration between the Saint Louis College of Music and one of the capital’s best-known jazz clubs: four evenings to listen live to a new generation of musicians in one of the most influential settings on the Roman scene.
Student ensembles will alternate each evening with repertoires ranging from jazz classics to more contemporary contaminations, with ample room for improvisation. Joining them each night will be at least two special guests who will dialogue with the young musicians on stage.
On the evening of April 30, in celebration of International Jazz Day, a jam session open to all will follow the concert, accompanied by a trio featuring students and faculty from the Saint Louis Jazz Department.
The festival represents one of the events that Saint Louis College of Music dedicates to the enhancement of its students, providing opportunities for visibility on important stages, within the Roman and national music circuit.
Four days of music and experimentation designed for jazz lovers and those who wish to be surprised by new sounds.
