Saint Louis in RAI

Saint Louis was selected of the RAI program “Uno mattina in Famiglia,” hosted by Monica Setta, for the column dedicated to excellence in music education in Italy.

During the episodes aired starting in April 2021, students Beatrice Gatto, Francesco Sacchini, Gabriele Ceccarelli, Davide Sambrotta, and Biancamaria Scoccia were guests in the RAI studios, while RAI correspondents – journalist Cinzia De Filippis and director Ricardo Nisini – were in charge of filming at the Saint Louis locations and interviews with director Stefano Mastruzzi and some of the teachers of the academic courses.

Francesco Sacchini, host of Unomattina in Famiglia, in the episode of Saturday, April 3, 2021, Rai1, performed the song “Voce” (Madame), accompanied by Margherita Flore and Corrado Filiputti.

Beatrice Gatto, host of Unomattina in Famiglia, episode of Sunday, April 11, 2021, Rai1. Beatrice represented the Saint Louis Jazz Department, performing an inspired version of “Fly Me to The Moon,” accompanied on guitar by Lorenzo Reggio.

Gabriele Ceccarelli, on Saturday, May 1, 2021, during the program Unomattina in Famiglia on RAI Uno, spoke about the Department of Composition and Film Music coordinated by Maestro Gianluca Podio and performed a medley of songs from the soundtrack of “The Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean” on the piano.

Davide Sambrotta, guest on Unomattina in Famiglia, an episode aired on RAI Uno on Dec. 26, 2021, a graduate in Piano Jazz and a graduate student in Composition and Film Music, performed the solo piano piece “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Biancamaria Scoccia guest on Unomattina in Famiglia, episode aired on RAI Uno on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Biancamaria – Bachelor’s Degree Jazz Singing Level I – Two-year Specialization in Music Production and now teaching Midi courses at Saint Louis College of Music – performs a completely new version of “Chills.”
