Selections open for Songwriting Camp 2025 to be held as part of the Between Music & arts Festival.
In Piazza Armerina from July 22 to 27, 2025. An international training experience for songwriters and musicians.
The call for applications to participate in the Between Songwriting Camp 2025, an opportunity dedicated to authors, songwriters, singers, producers and musicians (pianists, guitarists, bassists, drummers and also for ethnic/folk instrumentalists) under 35, from any nationality, with priority for students from the Mediterranean Basin, is officially online.
The Camp will take place in Piazza Armerina, Sicily, in the heart of the Between Festival, and is an opportunity for artistic growth and international comparison under the banner of music, collaboration and creativity.
Participants will have the opportunity to work under the careful mentorship of industry experts – songwriters, composers, performers, sound engineers and producers – on the creation of a professional record product to be presented to producers and publishers on the Italian scene.
The specific focus of this edition is Mediterranean Music, in its broadest sense, beyond genre categories, leaving resident artists free to range from jazz to pop to electronic.
Participants also will have the opportunity to perform in a final concert as part of the official Between Festival program, in collaboration with BabelNova Orchestra (formerly the orchestra of Piazza vittorio). An important stage to share the work done during the Camp and have a starring experience.
Who can participate:
Musicians or music students under 35 belonging to one of 4 categories:
- authors/songwriters
- singers
- musicians (piano/keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, ethnic-folk instruments)
- producers

Fees start from €300, with all-inclusive options including food, lodging, transfers and festival concert tickets.
