Drumming in the recording studio: room practice course for drummers by Cristiano Micalizzi.
The course will address different styles of music: Rock, Blues, R&B, Funk, Jazz, Brazilian, Afrocuban, Fusion. Different pieces will be studied for each style with the support of original backing tracks and sheet music, giving students the opportunity to follow the performances in detail.
For each style, the most suitable drum set, the most appropriate tuning, interpretation of sheet music, and a brief mention of recommended discography will be analyzed, including references to technique and reading topics.
