Starting in November 2023, the new refresher courses for music subject teachers who want to deepen and Integrate skills in the field of applied technologies begin.

In the current educational landscape, teacher refresher courses for teachers play a key role. HOME RECORDING AND MIXING

The course provides the basic technical knowledge for acquiring management skills for one’s home studio, through in-depth study related to the signal path (microphone techniques and sound management of one’s recording environment).

The course also focuses on the mixing of a song through the most popular professional techniques in the contemporary music scene. Following the mixing techniques, basic elements will be provided for an initial approach to the mastering process.

FILM SCORING AND VIRTUAL ORCHESTRATION

The course provides a broad overview of the types of music used in film, and the different roles that music caǹ play in a filmic context.

In addition, the technical aspects and practical difficulties involved in creating a soundtrack for film will be analyzed, concluding with the creation of a short scene given, through the techniques of virtual orchestration, making a professional orchestral mockup, through the analysis and investigation of the most̀ important techniques related to MIDI and audio management of the project.

DAW AND SOFTWARE NOTATION IN MUSIC COMPOSITION

In the world of the music industry, it is critically important to have the tools to properly create, edit, import and export computer music scores, used for both orchestral sessions and virtual orchestration work.

Such tools prove extremely useful in combination with a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) for the finalization of a professional project or for the creation of essential teaching material in ensemble practice or music theory lessons.

GAME SCORING AND SOUND SYNTHESIS

A game’s music score is no longer just a sound background that accompanies the player throughout his or her adventure, but one of the fundamental marketing pillars that requires professional specialization for the role of the music composer.

The course offers an innovative educational pathway that involves the development of industry knowledge and the skills necessary for the composition, production and implementation of the music score in a video game.

AUDIO MIDI MUSIC TECHNOLOGIES AND SYNTHESIS

Electronic music composition: a cutting-edge course that explores programming techniques and languages to realize artistic ideas using electronic instruments and software applications, develop the ability to manage music production projects at all stages of development through to executive production, recording sessions, and mixing and mastering.
