Colin Edwin

Edwin joined Porcupine Tree’s live lineup in 1993 following an invitation from frontman Steven Wilson, shortly becoming a permanent member of the lineup.

His first appearance was on the song Always Never, taken from the second album Up the Downstair, appearing on every release from The Sky Moves Sideways (1995) to The Incident (2009).

In 2014 he contributed to the formation of the supergroup O.R.k. with LEF, Carmelo Pipitone (Marta sui Tubi) and Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson).

During his career he was also a member of Ex-Wise Heads, a group that blends ethnic, ambient and post-modern music, and the experimental project Random Noise Generator.

In 2001 he played double bass on the album Returning Jesus by the duo No-Man, of which Wilson is a member.
