Marco Rinalduzzi

Marco Rinalduzzi professionally began as a guitarist, studying classical guitar for many years and playing in clubs in Rome; later in clubs all over Europe and finally on cruise ships.

Then he began his activity as a session man with many Italian and international artists, both live and in the recording studio: Riccardo Cocciante, Patty Pravo, Nada, Luca Barbarossa, Mina, Lucio Dalla, Ron, Gianni Morandi, Antonello Venditti, Claudio Baglioni, Zucchero, Sting, Keith Emerson, Tony Esposito, Brian Auger, GeGè Telesforo, and Mike Francis, with whom he tours acclaimed tours all over the world. He plays with great Italian and international jazz musicians such as Giovanni Tommaso, Roberto Gatto, Danilo Rea, Maurizio Giammarco, Ben Sidran, and Phil Woods.

He plays in soundtracks with great masters and conductors including: Ennio Moricone, Armando Trovaioli, Nicola Piovani, Piero Piccioni, Bruno Canfora, Gianni Ferrio, Peppe Vessicchio (with whom he still has a special relationship of esteem and friendship), Gianfranco Lombardi, Ritz Ortolani, Vito Tommaso, Tommaso Vittorini, Gianni Mazza, Fabio Frizzi to whom he owes a very special thanks for introducing him to this environment.

He also has the honor of participating in an edition of Fabio Pignatelli’s GOBLIN, recording a record sung in Italian and various soundtracks. He then arranges records and tracks for Mike Francis, GeGè Telesforo (with whom he establishes a great friendship and with whom he still collaborates), Teresa De Sio, Paola Turci, Nada (with Fabio Pignatelli) and then arranges and produces (with co-production by Massimo Calabrese) GIORGIA, composing together with her and Massimo Calabrese all the songs on her first record, including “E Poi.”

At the same time he was called by Calabrese and Alfredo Posillipo, to form the group “of his life,” the “IO VORREI LA PELLE NERA,” an agglomeration of great friends and musicians who formed a traveling family playing in the capital and Italy for many years.

Following these experiences, he founded the label “I PILOTI,” with Massimo Calabrese. Then comes the great Alex Baroni, Zenima, Petra Magoni, Alessandro Pitoni, Serena C, Flavia Astolfi, Stefania Calandra, Jacqueline Ferry, Diesis, Monica Hill, Andrea Veschini, and many new young talents.

In 2001, invited by Michele Torpedine, he produced and arranged a beautiful Andrea Bocelli concert recorded on DVD and distributed only in the United States, leading an extraordinary group consisting of: Tullio De Piscopo, Danilo Rea, Gigi De Rienzo, Claudio Storniolo, Aiden Zammit and the very young Davide Aru.

Meanwhile, he continues his activities as a session man, arranger and artistic producer. He just finished a long tour as Claudio Baglioni’s guitarist, published Marco Rinalduzzi 90+1
