Tomi Salesvuo, a Finnish drummer who teaches at the Metropolia Partner Institute in Helsinki, will be a guest speaker at Saint Louis on Nov. 5 and 6 offering the drummer masterclass “Drummers life in two worlds; Rock and Jazz drumming challenge!” and individual lessons.

Helsinki based drummer Tomi Salesvuo opens his world of drumming and demonstrates his playing in two different bands.

Leader and composer from East Funk Attack band, Salesvuo performs songs from the new & rocking `Rhythm Manifesto IV´ album and shares stories about the songs, drum grooves and production. At the master class Tomi will also open his aproach to acoustic jazz and his work with the Hammond Organ jazz trio Salesvuo Syncoption.
